Let Us Transfer Your Site From Your Old Host to eVerity

If your old host uses cPanel, we can do this for free. Just log in to www.everity.com (registration is free if you do not already have an account). On the left menu, you'll see a link to Transfer Your Web Site to eVerity from another host. You'll need to enter name of the host, the domain name or IP address, and the account username/password.

If your old host uses a different control panel, we may not be able to transfer email and email accounts, in which case these would have to be set up manually.

If your site is extremely large and/or interactive, there may be an additional fee for us to transfer it. We will let you know if this is the case.

Upload Your Web Site From Your Computer

If you have built a web site on your computer, you can easily transfer it to your hosting account. Most types of design software have an option to Publish or Transfer your site. If not, you may have to manually upload the files using separate FTP software. In all cases, you will need to use the same settings:

• Hostname/IP: This is sent to you by email when you add a new hosting account.
• Username: The username you choose when add a new hosting account (It may be different from the username you use to log in to everity.com.)
• Password: The password you choose when add a new hosting account (It may be different from the password you use to log in to everity.com.)
• Connection Port: 21
• Login Type: Normal
• Public Directory: public_html
